I recently opened a Shopify store online, and while everything seemed fine initially, my 3-day trial ended. I decided to start a subscription plan, but encountered issues navigating the site while setting up my store. To my surprise, I was charged $948.00 due to hidden fees I wasn’t aware of. I reached out to support, but they were unable to assist me. I advise against doing business with Shopify—they may end up taking your hard-earned money. Please be cautious and thoroughly read all the fine print in the contract.
Our company has been using Shopify to host and design our e-commerce website and engage with global customers. Shopify is user-friendly and offers a wide range of functions and third-party plugins. However, the pricing can be somewhat opaque.
