Square is the best point of sale system I’ve ever used. It’s user-friendly, reliable, and the troubleshooting support is exceptional. I love the flexibility to choose my payment schedule, with the daily option being my preferred choice. The ability to accept various payment methods and utilize multiple features is a major advantage. Setting up the menu took some time, but now that it’s integrated with my online sales, managing it has become incredibly easy. I genuinely can’t recommend this POS highly enough.
The system heavily relies on a strong internet connection, and the fees for both us and our customers are too high. We’re considering switching from Square to Commonwealth Merchant System, which offers a free card reader and fees of just 1.1%, nearly two-thirds less than Square’s rates.
Square POS is relatively easy to use and navigate, and it is generally reliable and hassle-free. However, the backend can be quite confusing, with settings leading to different areas depending on where you click. For example, pressing “settings” in one place takes you to one area, while pressing it elsewhere takes you to a completely different section. Overall, I’ve been satisfied with Square and would use it again. However, if you’re not very tech-savvy or prefer not to navigate complex systems, you might find it overwhelming.
